Welcome to the HMJDS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
The mission of the Amos and Celia Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School Parent Teacher Organization is:
- To enrich our sense of community in which HMJDS families, teachers and administrators welcome and support one another.
- To support our teachers and staff in enhancing student learning.
- To assist in parent programming and family events.
As a parent in the school you are automatically a member of the PTO. We welcome your involvement, energy and new ideas for the PTO in 2010-11/5770-5771 and beyond! Spirit Shop/Spirit Days
HMJDS observes Spirit Day each month, on or near Rosh Hodesh (the beginning of a new Jewish month). Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to sport HMJDS logo-wear on Spirit Days.
The PTO operates the Spirit Shop, selling t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items with the HMJDS logo. The Spirit Shop will be open at every all-school Kabbalat Shabbat during the school year and on selected additional dates.
